I live in a warm, and what is becoming an increasingly warmer, climate. I don't really need a coat. But if I did it would be this one by Fausto Puglisi.

Je love Lanvin
Shame on me for my lackadaisical blog keeping. What can I say? I've been busy. Something did catch my eye recently - the Pre-Fall collection by Lanvin.
I have no idea what or when Pre-Fall actually is (August/September?) and if this is a pre-cursor to actual-Fall then it's no wonder the likes of Galliano, Ghesquiere and Decarnin have buckled under the pressure to perform and produce and puke out god knows how many collections a year.
However, I digress. This collection of 28 gorgeous looks places the Lanvin girl in to a daywear situation, of course with a playful air. The full length t-shirt dress, the tuxedo jacket with luxe track pants, the pleat front pants with fur gilet. Insouciant and dreamy. Workable yet othe-worldly. I don't know how you do it Msr Elbaz but keep up the good work! Je love Lanvin.
